"The hope which never disappoints is Jesus Christ."

“For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope.
For who hopes for what one sees?
But if we hope for what we do not see,
we wait with endurance.”
(Romans 8: 24 – 25)

To be human is to have hopes for the present and the future.
How does Christian hope direct and fulfill
these human hopes in God the Father through Christ His Son in
light of the Holy Spirit?

For a Christian true human happiness is ultimately to be found in our relationship with God, the foundation of our hope, “the God who has a human face and who has loved us to the end, each one of us and humanity in its entirety.” (SS, 31)
